Welcome! I couldn't be happier that you came to visit my website! My name is Amy Popejoy. Here is a little about the girl behind the lens. I am a wife to the man of my dreams. I met my husband Ruston when we were both attending Texas Tech University. We have two beautiful daughters.

I graduated from Texas Tech with a business finance degree. I worked in the finance world briefly and then became a math teacher. This led me to a Master's Degree in Education to become an Educational Diagnostician. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and a professional photographer.

You might be wondering, how did I become a professional photographer? Well...I have always had an interest in photography. My dad always enjoyed taking pictures as I was growing up, so a camera was often around. I was on the yearbook staff in high school and absolutely loved the photography side, which is where I started to work with my first manual camera. I took a few classes at a local college and away we went. I have officially been in business for 10 years and I couldn't be more excited for the chance to capture your family.

As a passionate portrait photographer based in Lubbock, Texas, I believe that life's most precious moments are best captured through the lens. Whether it's a playful family session at the park, graduation for a senior, or a heartwarming reunion, I'm dedicated to preserving your unique story. Finding the beauty in each person, and each moment, from behind my lens, is truly one of my favorite things. I will capture not only the classic shots, but also blend candid moments with gentle guidance, creating authentic portraits that reflect your family's love and personality.

With over a decade behind the camera, I've honed my skills in composition, lighting, and storytelling. I cherish building relationships with my clients. Being a photographer is a wonderful opportunity for me to freeze those little moments you just don't want to forget. Over the past 10 years I have been incredibly blessed to be a part of so many memories, with so many families. Saying thank you just doesn't seem like enough.
